Projekt identyfikacji wizualnej dla kolejnej wystawy w galerii Salon Akademii. "Malarstwo radykalne" to dialog dwóch twórców - Tomasza Milanowskiego i Sławomira Ratajskiego. Inicjały artystów pokrywają się z tytułem wystawy i na malowanych literach opiera się key visual imprezy podkręcony o działanie kontry. Dwie wersje, czarna i biała, przeplatają się w różnych materiałach promocyjnych - wielkoformatowych plakatach, ulotkach czy banerach internetowych.
Visual ID for the following exhibition in Salon Akademii gallery. "Radical Painting" was a dialog between two painters - Tomasz Milanowski and Sławomir Ratajski.
The key visual bases on artist's hand-painted initials in both black and white variants. Both were used in various promoting materials such as posters, leaflets or digital banners.
Częścią projektu było także zaprojektowanie katalogu wystawy, oddającego ducha i materię obrazów obu artystów. Zdjęcia z eskpozycji oraz z wernisażu są czarno-białe, nie odciągają uwagi czytelnika od reprodukcji, a ich głównym zadaniem jest pokazanie skali płócien. Dzięki temu zabiegowi mogą wybrzmieć kolorowe zbliżenia obrazów.
W książce oglądamy jedynie wycinki prac, oddające faktury i bogactwo barw oryginałów.
The project included creating the catalogue of the exhibition. As a whole it should show the ambience of the paintings, but not just the pictures. That is why the book consists of black and white photographs take during exposition opening and colorful close-ups of the canvas. Readers can have a look into the texture and color of the paintings and see their scale in comparision to the space and people.
The exhibition took place October-November 2020 at Salon Akademii Gallery.
